    Indonesia's lack of badminton success at the international level is partly attributable to the lack of age-group tournaments at home, according to some of the game's biggest names. They say the tournaments would serve as a source of new talents to be groomed at the national training camp.

    It is impossible to separate Hendrawan from badminton. It runs in his family. Hendrawan, who won the world championships in Seville, Spain in 2001, had the greatest love for badminton and his country that he has not left the scene, still continues to offer his services for Indonesia as the women's singles coach although most of his former teammates have decided to seek fortunes elsewhere.
